Helen Marioncu BDes is a professional illustrator/designer graduating from the Ontario College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Design degree. In addition to an award winning published career, she is an educator with extensive teaching experience that includes OCAD in Toronto, Georgian College in Barrie, Humber college in Toronto, Etobicke Board of Education, Toronto District Board of Education, Neilson Park Creative Centre and numerous appearances in local workshops.
Her painterly work has been exhibited nationally with a painting in the permanent collection of the Museum of Civilization, Ottawa. Paintings and limited editions are in collections throughout North America and Europe.
Hobbies include breeding and training European Warmblood horses for dressage. She lives in the country on a farm north of Toronto with husband Michael and daughter Alexa.
